SearchAF runs on your Mac.
The app
Indexing and search happen on your Mac, and the app sends no telemetry. It uses the internet to download models, to check for updates, and, only if you turn them on, to reach external providers for agent APIs or cloud storage.
Google Drive and Google Docs
If you sign in with Google, SearchAF uses read-only access to Google Docs to read the Docs in the folders you added, and your email address to confirm the account matches your Drive. Documents are indexed and stored only on your Mac, and never shared or sold. SearchAF's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Remove the folder to delete the data, or revoke access from your Google account.
This website
The site uses Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, only after you accept the cookie banner.
